The National Conference on SDG – IKS Synergy for Sustainable Development (NCSISD 2026) aims to explore the meaningful integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the rich heritage of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) to address contemporary global challenges. The conference serves as a multidisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and students to deliberate on sustainable solutions rooted in indigenous wisdom and modern scientific advancements.
Indian Knowledge Systems encompass traditional practices, philosophies, technologies, and value systems that have guided sustainable living for centuries—ranging from environmental stewardship, health and wellness, agriculture, water management, architecture, ethics, and education. When aligned with SDGs, these knowledge systems offer innovative, culturally grounded, and scalable solutions for sustainable development.
